Following a realistic, practical, and goal-oriented process is the key to achieving concrete and successful solutions.

Stage 0: Discovery

Getting to know you and your project. We will review its objectives, what you want to achieve, and discuss possible solutions. Ultimately a project proposal is presented and approved to move forward.

Initial Meeting

We meet for the first time, either virtually or in person if location allows. We will go over project objectives, expectations, discuss possible solutions, and discuss crucial information that will let me elaborate an initial proposal.

Based on project needs, we will define its resources, services, and technologies, as well as the implications these will involve. We will define if additional team players are necessary for specific areas of the project.

The Proposal

I will present an initial project proposal that will include all information needed to get the project rolling: schedules, deliverables, resources, project costs, and terms and conditions.

Client Approval

Once we both understand what we will be doing, and you are satisfied with the proposed project roadmap, we will be ready to move forward.

Stage 1: Strategy

This is the planning stage of the project. We will understand what your goals and objectives are, and develop a solid and realistic plan to achieve them. Time to officially get the project going.

Define Business Objectives

First we will define the goals and objectives that the project should accomplish, and establish a strategy to achieve them. We will define and narrow down the target audience, and outline the project vision, scope, and reach. Lastly, we will set limits to how far we need, should, and want to go in order to achieve each milestone.

Content Strategy

Based on your target audience, we will determine the correct type of content that should be delivered. We will carefully choose the best distribution channels to align all communication efforts. It is crucial to identify the efforts and implications of creating such content, to elaborate a strategy that plans for future use and maintenance.

Design Direction

By studying references and creating mood boards, a design direction will be defined for the project. We will start with an initial design proposal, which is presented with different design variations. One direction is chosen.

Technical Direction

A detailed technical solution will be created tailored to the project needs and direction. Based on the scope, we will create a thorough plan that will cover all the different systems, services, and required technologies.

Client Approval

At this point, we have completed a solid strategy and a game plan for the project. If you are satisfied and happy with these decisions, we are ready to move on to the project implementation. Time to get our hands dirty!

Stage 2: Production

This is an iterative stage that cycles around strategy, design, and development. Today's web requires us to work differently: we will prototype, review, and refine our product cyclically as we move forward.

Information Architecture

Define all information structures, navigational workflows, and content taxonomies. This is the segmentation and organization of all the logical parts of the project. We will create rapid wireframes to define a base structure, and jump straight into prototyping.

Technology Infrastructure

All the gears under the hood will get assembled. The development workflow system will be implemented. Development, staging, and production servers will be configured, and a version control and deployment systems initiated. We will also implement the content management system (CMS), if one was chosen for your project.

Functional Prototypes

Once we have a basic idea of the site structure, we will begin creating the skeleton: responsive, functional prototypes that will be tested directly in the browser. This will give us an initial idea of the navigational workflows, the site responsiveness, and the overall user experience.

Design and Development

As prototypes get approved, we will begin cycling through a design and development phase. We will apply and refine the design direction as well as solve all the functional requirements. As the site begins taking shape we will QA every step of the way to ensure great results.

This is the moment we have all been waiting for: your site is ready. We will run the final quality assurance to make sure everything is in order and working correctly. After final QA and approval, we are ready to launch.

Stage 3: Evolution

Once the project has been launched, it is time to grow. To assure we achieve all business objectives, we must track and measure the progress of the website, and help it evolve into a better solution.

Based on the content strategy defined during the initial stage, we will begin implementing this plan of action. We will have defined goals and milestones that will be followed, measured, and adjusted as we move forward.

Strategic Growth

We will keep track of the impact of your website and other digital channels, measuring and evaluating results to propose new implementations. We will strengthen what is weak and maximize what is already working.

+ Communication

Extend your brand's reach beyond your website or current implementation. We could complement your project and extend its reach using alternative mediums. Use traditional media or additional digital channels to spread your message!

I am interested in establishing solid relationships with my clients to help them grow their business.
